The majority of our metal pole products are of 28mm diameter and they can hold most weights of curtains with the Italia or Neo ranges proving the most popular choice. If you have particularly heavy curtains, such as those made from brocade or velvet material, or those which are interlined, then we would recommend a thicker diameter pole.
